Before I studied Audio Engineering, I spent years as a touring singer/songwriter and a recording artist, and during that time I learned how much is at stake when you bring your songs into a recording studio.
My approach to audio engineering and production is centered on collaboration and communication. I am passionate about helping songwriters and musicians record their music in a unique and authentic way.
Working closely with artists, I aim to bring out the full potential of their music and support the emotional integrity of each song. This happens best in a space where the artist feels comfortable to take creative risks, make mistakes, ask questions and have fun. My goal is to help create this space, and then capture the audio in a way that honors the essence of each song.
I love working with singer-songwriters, bands, and all sorts of musicians. I am skilled at adapting to different approaches and styles, and I’m equipped with experience and technical knowledge from years of working in multiple professional recording studios with the guidance of my mentors.
As a woman in a male-dominated profession*, I have a unique perspective on the recording industry. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space for all artists to share their stories and create meaningful art.
